The lodge is now specializing in group events, offering the entire facility for 5 days or more.
We will no longer be operating as a hotel with individual check-ins and check-outs.
Reservations should be made 6 months in advance.
Rental of the facility starts at US$1000 per day for up to 10 people.

After 15 years of building and running the Black Sheep Inn and creating a sustainable tourist
destination in Chugchilan, we are ready to slow down and relax. As always, we are encouraging
low-impact slow tourism. If you are able to organize a group visit to the Black Sheep Inn
Retreat for a minimum of 5 days, please contact us.
Suggested themes for Retreats include: Yoga or Meditation Retreats; Creative Workshops for
Artists or Writers; Eco-Living or Green Building Trainings; Family Reunions, Weddings,
Birthdays; Volunteer Vacations with Community-Aid Work; Corporate Team Building and
Empowerment or other weeklong events.
Black Sheep Inn’s rural Andean location offers world renowned day hiking, horseback riding
and excursions to: Laguna Quilotoa, Rio Toachi Canyon, cloud forest in the Iliniza Ecological
Reserve, indigenous markets, and local cooperative workshops producing handcrafted furniture
and Swiss-style cheeses.
Eco Permaculture Features include: solar panels, adobe construction, composting toilets,
recycling, roof water collectors, gray water systems, organic gardens, community education
and aid work, reforestation, erosion control and more.

Deluxe Private Rooms

High on the property with a fantastic view we offer four rooms with attached (ensuite)
private bathroom and shower. Like all of the
bathrooms, these feature enviromentally sound composting toilets and
24 hours a day hot water.
There is also one Deluxe Private Room closer to the lodge.
Bunkhouse

The bunkhouse offers 10 beds in a three story A-frame house with an incredible view.
Matrimonial beds are available for couples.
Standard Private Rooms

Three standard private accommodations are tucked into a wooded area of the hillside.
They share one composting toilet and a shower (24 hours hot water) between three rooms.
PRICES start at US$5000 for 5 days up to 10 people.

What's Included
All Meals Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner are included in the price.
Black Sheep Inn's international vegetarian
dinners get rave reviews, and we even have a recipe served at the
Magic Bean Restaurant
in Quito. Special menus can be requested.
Drinks We provide unlimited purified drinking water. You can fill
your water bottles to take hiking. Also included is organic
shade-grown Ecuadorian brewed coffee and a wide variety of herbal and caffeinated teas, available self-service from
7:30 AM to 9:30 PM every day.
Accommodation Rooms feature orthopaedic mattresses, incredible
views
and wood-burning stoves. All rooms have easy access to beautiful,
spacious bathrooms, as well as showers with 24 hour hot water.

Yoga Studio We have a spacious sunlit room built of exposed wood beams and rock,
with an attached outdoor sundeck to practice yoga or just relax in the hammocks and watch the world go by.
Yoga studio is available to guests 24 hours a day.
Sauna The wood-fired sauna and hot soaking tub make a perfect end to
a day of hiking. Black Sheep Inn's sauna is an eclectic combination of a traditional
Finnish Sauna and a Native American Indian Sweat Lodge.
Taxes Local sales tax 12% and Service 10% are included
in the price.
Extras
Snacks We offer for sale various cakes, brownies and cookies. And we
offer a cheese sampler plate from a local
Swiss style cheese factory.
Drinks We have a full bar and mixed drinks, a wide variety of Chilean and
Argentinean red and
white wines and plenty of ice cold Ecuadorian
Pilsner Beer.
Transportation Prices does not include international airfare nor ground
transportation to and from the Black Sheep Inn.
